17h season of "Ševčík's Music Evenings" 2026 in Horažďovice (Prácheň hotel) includes two concerts of 31st season of "Chateau Music Summer" in Horažďovice (chateau). Entrance fee for all concerts 150 CZK, discounted admission 80 CZK (children from 10 years, students, pensioners, parents on parental leave), children younger than 10 years free of charge. Secession hall in Prácheň Hotel: Strakonická 152, 341 01 Horažďovice. Great museum hall: Mírové náměstí 11, 341 01 Horažďovice.

Ševčík Academy. Concert by lecturers and alumni of the Ševčík Summer Academy marking the 174th anniversary of the birth of Otakar Ševčík.

Epoque Quartet. One of the best-known Czech string quartets and a regular musical presence on the popular television dance show StarDance will bring its exclusive programme to the Ševčík Music Evenings.

Tomáš Müller (oboe), Tadeáš Kořínek (bassoon), Andrea Ille (piano). The overall winners of the 2025 Czech Competition for Double Reed Instruments in the oboe and bassoon categories will perform together in a joint recital. As part of the Ševčík Music Evenings, the programme focuses on supporting young talents in classical music.

Alinde Quintet. Winner of the “Music Olympics” – the 2024 ARD International Music Competition in Munich. The acclaimed Czech wind quintet Alinde Quintet will perform a programme spanning works by Antonín Rejcha, Edvard Grieg, and more.

Kristýna Kůstková (vocalist), Martin Cába (guitar). Spanish songs and pieces by Petr Eben presented by one of today’s most celebrated sopranos, with guitarist Martin Cába.

Vilém Veverka (oboe) and Apex quartet. One of today’s most prominent Czech oboists will perform a new project alongside the Apex String Quartet. The evening’s programme highlights the classical repertoire for oboe and string quartet, complemented by jazz works and compositions by contemporary Czech composers.
